Chateaubriand fellowships – Humanities, Social Sciences, and STEM – Conduct research in France

Chateaubriand Fellowships allow doctoral students to conduct research in France for up to 10 months. There are different requirements (and deadlines) for the Humanities & Social Sciences and for the STEM fellowships.

Humanities & Social Sciences

-Must be studying at a US institution, but do not have to be a US citizen

-Currently working on your Ph.D.

-Offers two different 4-month fellowships and one 8-month fellowship

Application deadline: December 31, 2011

STEM fields

-Likewise only need to be registered at US institution (not necessarily US citizen)

-Fellowships last 4 to 10 months

Application deadline: February 1, 2012
