Two sources of great advice on NIH grants (and probably grants in general)

The Powerpoint presentation attached above is from Dr. Peter Wagner, Professor Emeritus of Medicine and Bioengineering at UCSD. It’s an excellent set of instructions for preparing NIH grant applications. It tells you how to do the abstract, the specific aims, and the budget.
I also learned a lot from reading this (short) article that he wrote:

I recommend that you both read the attached slides and look up the article.
