If you are applying for a NASA Fellowship
January 25, 2012If you plan to apply for a NASA Fellowship (such as the NESSF 12 that’s due February 1), please be sure to email me (gradadvisor AT ucsd DOT edu) so that I know to look for your proposal in NSPIRES. If you don’t notify me, I won’t know to review and submit your proposal.
Please also note that unless otherwise announced, OGS’s internal deadline for all fellowship proposals is 14 calendar days before the agency deadline. Therefore, if you’re still working on your application, you’ve technically missed our internal deadline, and OGS can no longer guarantee on-time submission of your application. (We’ll still try, of course.) Please email me IMMEDIATELY to let me know of your intent to apply.
I realize I should have posted this deadline here earlier. I mean, our general policy is 14 days beforehand, but I realize that I made a mistake by not announcing this one in advance. So I’ll understand if you’re a little miffed.
